The following two existing products are KAM’s signature groundbreaking creations, branded as PaintOnce®. KAM’s existing two coating products are 100% acrylic latex, water-based, advanced, ultrahigh performance, aerospace grade in nature. Both are Green/Low VOC’s and carbon-smart.

100% Acrylic Latex All-Purpose Fireproof & Waterproof Exterior Wall & Trim Protective Coating

It can be applied on virtually any surface, with only one coat required indoors and two coats recommended outdoors, usually without any primer coat, except in some severe cases with metal applications. This product will carry a transferable, lifetime warranty.

100% Acrylic Latex Fireproof & Waterproof Protective Roof Coating

A sister product to KAM’s signature Formula A2, it has enhanced anticorrosion ingredient modifications to address the unique, extremely harsh weather and sun exposure conditions that horizontal roof coatings are exposed to 24/7. This product will also carry a lifetime warranty.

All of KAM’s future advanced products will be developed and extensively tested with KAM’s amazing team of top organic and paint chemists and testing facilities, commencing with its interior paint product, rapidly followed by the products as displayed (at right).

All future paint and coating products will share a very critical common thread of being, highly innovative, ultrahigh performance, groundbreaking, and most importantly, all will be problem solving in nature, formulated to aggressively repel corrosion and endure for a lifetime without any product failure.

KAM has made a potentially groundbreaking and globally game-changing discovery of organic material that will be branded as OM28, that, if proven successful following KAM’s initial R&D proof-of-concept stage, could very likely replace existing, highly toxic and costly copper-based marine antifouling coating additives. Moreover, it will be compatible with virtually all existing water and oil-based marine paints and coatings globally.

KAM strongly believes that if OM28 proves effective as an antifouling additive, it will very likely also prove to be an effective antiviral, antibacterial and antimicrobial additive for most architectural paints and coatings, with virtually endless applications globally. KAM believes its novel, proprietary additive compound will kill 99.9% of any virus on contact, including COVID-19.

Even more exciting, if KAM establishes a successful initial proof of concept of OM28, it further believes there will be many more, even higher volume global product uses beyond paints and coatings, including the cosmetics, medical and hospitality industries, as well as many others. Each product borne from OM28 will be branded separately as indicated (at left).

OM28 stems from a little known and somewhat misunderstood class of fossil-free, highly complex organic polymers that form key structural materials in the support tissues from KAM’s proprietary source. OM28 also has robust antimicrobial and antibacterial benefits. In fact, some recent medical studies have shown significant promise using OM28 for potentially revolutionary medicinal purposes. OM28 is inexpensive and is readily and reliably available in virtually unlimited quantities globally—and will remain so in perpetuity.

Primary Exterior Coating Features & Benefits

A-1 Fire Retardant

Possesses an A-1 Fire Retardant rating—this is the best fire rating possible for this class of fire testing. Additionally, the coating will not burn in the pail and is self-extinguishing.

Environmentally Safe/carbonSMART™

100% acrylic, waterborne product, exceeding today’s strictest environmental requirements. The coating is a nontoxic product with low VOC levels.

Superior Durability

Produces a surface with superior hardness and will be highly resistant to scuffing, impacts, scratching, chipping, or cracking. Coating’s resistance to extended abrasion is also superior.

Fungus Resistance

Contains the highest quality, cutting-edge, environmentally friendly fungicide that aggressively resists fungus, mold, mildew, and algae, both in the can and on the surface.

Long Life, Great Appearance

Will outlast typical exterior coatings by three to five times (or longer) and possesses superior aesthetic appeal. It will look great for the duration of the coating life and will significantly reduce premature fading, chalking, hazing, blistering, peeling, or checking.

High Coverage

Depending on the surface type, the coating provides coverage of 125 to 275 square feet per gallon. This represents more than twice the coverage area compared to other elastomeric products.

High Build

True two-coat system, achieving a dry film thickness of 10-12 mils with two coats, which is the thickness of a typical quality business card and is five times thicker than typical house paint applications.

Easy Application/Cleanup and Fast Dry Time

Easily applied with a brush, roller, or commercial-grade sprayer and cleans up easily with soap and water. Initial cure (tack-free) time is generally under 30 minutes with moderate to low ambient humidity. Dries to recoat in about one hour; its primary cure rate is approximately 48 hours and the final cure rate is approximately 30 days.

Superior Adherence

Offers incredible adherence when applied to just about any substrate, including most woods, masonry, concrete, stucco, vinyl, metals, ceramic tile, composites, glass, and more. Adherence test results for paints and coatings in general rarely exceed 500psi. Coating tested at a remarkable 680psi. For perspective, typical paint products fail between 150-300psi, quality epoxies fail at 500psi, and concrete fails at 600psi.

Thermal Barrier/Saves Energy Costs

Due to the coating’s ceramic and reflective technology, the coating can actually augment existing insulation systems to significantly reduce energy costs by reflecting heat away, slowing heat conductivity, and keeping structures cooler in summer. This is the same ceramic technology that NASA utilized to protect the Space Shuttle from the extreme heat upon its re-entry.

High Flexibility

Will withstand normal building expansion and contraction by stretching and recovering (like a rubber band) and will span most cracks under 1/8th of an inch in width. In addition, the coating has great flexibility without cracking. Lack of sufficient elongation or flexibility will most assuredly lead to eventual early chipping, cracking, and flaking.

Waterproof/Active Moisture Management

Coating has a strong resistance to water penetration, which prevents leaks, damage, and deterioration of just about any substrate, and has a high breathability rating, which allows water vapor to escape, helping in the prevention of unhealthful mold and mildew inside wall structures, etc.

High Humidity and Salt Spray Resistance

Resists membrane deterioration, blistering, and peeling from the substrate due to high humidity or high salt spray environments.

Colorfast

Available in unlimited fade-resistant colors. White or pastel colors are highly recommended for the best energy savings and highest fade resistance.

Money Saving

Has a significantly higher spread rate and a substantially longer life with fewer required repaints, reducing labor and energy costs. This 2-coat system offers high protection of the structure with a low life cycle cost, saving real dollars for decades.

Easy Maintenance

Resists the bonding of dirt. The coated surface can be easily cleaned, unlike other elastomerics, which typically trap dirt.
